Qigong originates from China, its practice aligns our breath with slow gentle movements, and that style of exercises aiming at improving health and vitality goes back thousands of years.
The exercises were not always called ‘Qigong’ but the style and aims were the same.
Documented history information discovered on Qigong can be found dating as far back as 2,500 years ago, and archaeologists and historians have also discovered references to Qigong style of exercises going as far back as 4 to 5,000 years ago!
The exercises have obviously evolved and developed over time and since then incorporating elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
